For this Exhibition, I am focusing on the idea of ‘Home’ and what that means to not just myself but the people around me. Home is quite a complicated subject to capture as the meaning of ‘Home’ is very open to each person. It could mean simply where they live, or it could be where they most feel safe, where their friends and family are. The way I perceive Home is where I feel most safe and comfortable, for me that is a place just off a public pathway near my families house where I go to feel calm and escape the world. 

The idea of Home to me, is the place I feel most safe and calm with my thoughts, for example I have an area in my home village where I go to when I need space out of my house. I will photograph there, both in the daytime and the night time as I use it to escape both during the day and night, so I would like to show the contrast of that. 

I will also photograph the local park I used to go to as a child, I will use a model who looks like me when I was his age and use that as a way to show my childhood life fading away from my memory as I move forward and away from my local village into a new town with University.
